Fishing Report February 16th

Photos & Fishing report by Dawson Schwarz. @getting.spooled

Marcus and Dawson with a beautiful Bulkley Valley Rainbow Trout through the ice.

The ice fishing has been great up around the Bulkley Valley this winter. Lake Trout have been active but a little more finicky than last year when it comes to eating. Depths between 40ft and 90ft have been the most productive, with more action in shallower depths during the mornings and evenings. The Rainbow Trout fishing was on fire earlier in the winter but it’s starting to taper off a bit. Depths between 5ft and 15ft have been working best and producing some super healthy, beautiful specimens!

The ice fishing has been great up around the Bulkley Valley this winter! Dawson Schwarz and crew have been getting after it.
