Terrace, Kitimat & Area
Terrace area
Busy time around Terrace. Good Chinook, Sockeye. Pinks and Steelhead now being caught in the Skeena. All rivers in good shape and lots of fishing opportunities for all anglers.
Kitimat River
Peak of the Spring(Chinook) run is in and upriver. Still some fresh fish coming in but now being taken over by the Pinks and Chums, a few Coho and Sockeye. Great time to be on the Kitimat with a chance at all 5 types of Pacific Salmon. Chinook close on the Kitimat at midnight July 31 so a few days left. Warning there are some Grizzlies on the Lower Kitimat, be aware.
