Steve Hidber

Born and raised in Smithers. His family has owned the sporting goods store in Smithers since 1953. Steve has spent countless hours on sport fishing issues . Loves to fish. Loves to introduce new comers to the sport. Loves to teach others & loves to see other people enjoying themselves on the rivers / lakes and oceans. Loves the outdoors.

For Steve, fishing is not always about the catching,(cause he can’t catch much) but enjoying the environment.

He and his wife have two sons who they are very proud of. They enjoy the area and work hard to support sport fishing initiatives as well as other charities, events and local clubs.

Kerry Kilpatrick

Loves to fish. Spends all her free time fishing or with her grand children. She is very approachable, likes to share her experience with others. Has fished many different rivers in the province and waters beyond. Her passion is fly fishing – single hand and spey. Likes to share her experience with others and introduce people to the sport of fly fishing.

Alex Bussmann

new to the sport of fishing. Loves to be on the water. Give him lots of space when he has a spey rod in his hands. Loves to take his two boys out exploring.
